Mandarin Ciaculli

The late Mandarin from Ciaculli was named after a village close to Palermo where it was discovered.
It is distinguished by the thinness of its skin and its high sugar level. Its production is limited and covers only 200ha. All the orchards are owned by small producers gathered in a consortium supported by SLOWFOOD Italy.
